Resonator – TILT [Digital + Limited Edition Gold Coloured Double Vinyl]
Double pack very limited edition colour vinyl of TILT’s brand new album + Digital
The vinyl includes a Hernan Cattaneo & Martin Garcia Remix not to be released on digital.
Staying resolutely at the cutting-edge of electronic music, TILT have emerged from the studio with what may be their finest yet. ‘Resonator’ is a body of work that can effortlessly look eye-to-eye with any of the pantheon of dance music’s classic albums of the last two decades, demonstrating with aplomb that Mick Park and Nic Britton are very much at the top of their game.
With the insight and mastery of the studio (and it’s inherent analogue machinery) that twenty years of experience at the forefront of the dance industry can bring, TILT still manage to make music that sounds like the future.
House, techno, and classic electronica pulses course through ‘Resonator’, featuring the talents of guest vocalists Sam Mollison (Sasha, Pezzner) on critically-lauded singles ‘The Hurt’ and ‘Here Is Not Now’, and Dominique Atkins (Grace) on the exquisite ‘Falling Again’; the ten tracks of ‘Resonator’ (or eleven if you are fortunate enough to own a vinyl copy) comprise an epic trip for both the ears and for the dancefloor.
Analogue Slide – Produced with Roger Lyons who past exploits have seen him work with Lion Rock, Ian Brown, Mani (Stone Roses) Peter Hook (New Order).
Here Is Not Now – Features the mighty voice of Sam Mollison on vocal duty. In the past he has also collaborated with Sasha and John Digweed.
Kiss Magnetic – Is produced with two rising stars of the underground Kastis Torrau & Arnas D. They collectively won the burn studio competition in Ibiza which was judged by non-other than Sasha.
Resonator – Is the namesake of the album and is a pure slice of classic TILT which see’s the guys collaborate with one of Dublins finest Silinder.
30 Hits Of Acid – Was an idea, which originated from a Youtube video. Mick and Nic have been lifelong fans of legendary techno act LFO. So when the opportunities arouse to work with Gez Varley on this project they jumped at the chance – 303 acid house!
Falling Again – features one the legends of dance music on vocals Dominique Atkins (aka Grace). After working with Paul Oakenfold on multiple projects Dom retired from music only to resurface on this one-off project!
Ku – Named after the first super club night in Ibiza Ku was a labour of love on this album. It was collaboration with Namespace who are longtime production friends of TILT. This laid back groove screams terraces in Ibiza on a cool summer night.
The Hurts – Is the last track, which once again features Sam Mollison on vocals. This tune really grabs your attention with those enormous vocals and big TILT production sounds.
Northern Heavy – Is pure analogue synth heaven and see’s TILT dip their toe back into that big sound which they are now so synonymous with.
Make You High – The last song on album and its something a bit of their normal remit. It features Natasha Cadman on vocals and was produced with a live string quartet.
