Pete B, Rianu Keevs – Away From Here
Next up on Pro B Tech Music we welcome Pete B & Rianu Keevs with Away From Here, a vocal-led progressive release backed up with remixes from Gina Lunata, Doug Crawford and Bulldozer.
Pete’s Vox Mix opens the package, bringing the vocal right to the front while keeping things firmly rooted in the deeper progressive sound we love here at Pro B Tech. There’s plenty of space in the track for the vocal to work, with the groove and melodic elements building around it rather than fighting for attention.
Gina Lunata is first up on remix duties, putting her own stamp on the track and taking the original in a different direction while still keeping that vocal connection.
Doug Crawford follows with his interpretation, bringing a deeper, rolling feel to Away From Here. Doug has become a familiar name on the label and once again gives us a remix that sits comfortably in those longer progressive sets where tracks are given time to build and develop.
Bulldozer then takes things up another gear with a more driving remix, before Rianu Keevs returns with his own Vox Mix, giving us another take on the vocal and a different perspective on the original collaboration. Rounding off the package is the Bulldozer Dub, stripping things back and giving the groove more room to do the work for those who prefer a little less vocal in their sets.
Six mixes and quite a bit of variety across the release, from the two vocal versions through to the deeper and more driving remixes and the closing dub. Hopefully a little something in there for different times of the night.
