Ilya Gerus & Melodule Materia drop a very tasty 3 track EP on the superb Pro-B Tech label.

Beginning with the title track ‘Prima Materia’. This sophisticated melodic Progressive House workout oozes quality from the off, as tinkling bell chimes meet an incessant bass, while pads gently wash over, creating a beautiful soundscape.

‘Sherwood Forest’ gently slides in, with its cool intro, before we pound in to a darker territory, Progressive House, still melodic, but more of a moodier affair, as quirky noises and fx gel effortlessly, creating a mesmerising club rumbler full of desire.

And rounding things off, we have ‘Closer’, a dreamy deep tuneful voyage of Progressive House, tough yet understated, as we meander gently, while still solidly teasing the dance floor with its spirited groove.
