PERPLEXED EMOTIONS E.P. – GLEN MOLLOY

Next onto the prodigious Pro B Tech assembly line is an EP courtesy of Ireland’s Glenn Molloy.

Since his production debut in 2015, Glenn Molloy has been a prolific contributor to a plethora of respected labels.

This run of form manifests itself in his first outing for the label, namely the ‘Perplexed Emotions’ EP.

Progressive house harking back to the classic era of the late nineties is the order of the day on it’s title track, with Molloy expertly building tension and groove destined to get the most difficult of dancefloors into the mood. There is a brilliantly analog vibe here too.

Hypnotised & PatriZe weigh in with a delicious reinterpration. A nod to progressive trance doesn’t go unnoticed here and will undoubtedly provide a welcome alternative to the highly accomplished original mix.

Molloy completes the package with the second of his original tracks, ‘Transcending’. The track has a similarly classic vibe to the first in this package; oozing texture, melodics and atmospherics, whilst sight of the dancefloor is not lost thanks to an irrestistably rolling groove.
