01. Hernan Serrao & Brent Lawson - Optimo (Manu F Remix)1.30
Pro B Tech Music presents once more Argentinean based DJ/producer Hernan Serrao but this time a collaboration with Scottish DJ/producer & label owner Brent Lawson. The collaboration brings you a new fantastic original with three outstanding remixes to finish of the EP “Optimo”, it truly is a Probtech Management showcase.
The original mix is a percussive deep tech house track with the solid pads and an enjoyable progressive Melody. In the exact moment when the track start’s to lose energy the break appears with a sharp and penetrable sound that give a new dimension to the track. A really pleasurable collaboration between these two great producers. We hope to hear more coming from these two working together very soon.
In the first of the remixes is the interpretation from Manu F, another Argentinian producer. His productions can always count on the support of artist’s such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Simos Tagias to name but a few. To start with we can hear that the bpm is brought back down in contrast with the original, keeping the pads and main melody, however halfway through the track he transforms them in to two unique and fresh creations that give the track a smooth sound like Manu f always does in his productions. Pure Deep Progressive, Pure quality.
Next up on remix duties is Ryan May, known by his stage name City of Pyramids, City of Pyramids creates an Hypnotic and powerful remix with a voice that gives a particular touch to the track. City of Pyramids has kept the same drums style than the original but much faster; this remix is perfect for the dance floor.
In the last remix is another Probtech Management and from the USA is Kri Samadhi, playing and producing psychedelic goa trance for over 15 years. Here he gets in to progressive world producing in lower bpm than we are accustomed to, Kri does great work respecting the sound of the original and putting emphasis in the middle of the remix in the more aggressive melody from the original version .At the end we can see the particular style of Kri adding delay to almost each little sound that appear and converting them in individual melodies in the background.
