FAKE MOON E.P.
FAKE MOON E.P. – Jawjee
Recent music-maker for sister label Pro B Tech, emerging talent Jawjee crosses the border into BTechNoir territory for an immediate follow up. Headline track ‘Fake Moon’ is a grooving, melody-laden slice of progressive, re-affirming the curator’s penchant for distinct, musical elements.
Veterans of the global progressive scene Pako and Frederik don the first of two remix hats attributed to the opener. A deep, rolling groove with texture and hypnotic eminence, a sound from which the duo have built a formidable reputation, takes hold from the outset and oozes class.
Kiz Pattison, one of the mainstays in the BTechNoir family, delivers the second of the remix brace. A darker interpretation is the fruit of his labour and completes a delicious hors d’oeuvre to the two additional originals that follow.
‘Humans 2.0’ showcases Jawjee in a techier, more driving style. As ever, room is made during the break for an epic melodic hook which can be associated with his entire discography to date.
‘Cavernous’ is equally powerful, delivering cinematic flair and adding a further string to the bow of this burgeoning young talent.
We hope you enjoy.
