ENTITY – MICHAEL & LEVAN, STIVEN RIVIC VS RICK PIER O’NEIL

Georgian biological and musical brothers-in-arms Michael & Levan acquire further allies in Stiven Rivic and Rick Pier O’Neil for the release of ‘Entity’.

With many years of experience and a vast discography under their collective belts, it’s no surprise that the aforementioned conglomerate musters an original track that is highly accomplished. Deep, musical, groovy, and techy in beautifully equal proportions.

Ian Dillon offers the first in a brace of remixes. The progressive house stance showcased here is a welcome variety to the package. Dillon retains many of the original melodic elements and creates space for a throbbing bassline and an immersive textural soundscape.

Greek musician Stelios Vassiloudis needs little introduction amongst those ‘in the know’ and completes the package with a conclusively devastating remix. A long-time favourite of Bedrock Records (John Digweed is amongst his most ardent advocates), Stelios provides a monstrous reinterpretation.

Deep, progressive house, and epic; compliments would be easy to administer but would somehow still serve as an injustice. Our best advice is to simply listen and repeat.
