DROPLETS FEAT. TWIG LEBOWSKI – BODYMOTION

Our next instalment is a track we have been really excited about for some time from the excellent Yorkshire based “Bodymotion”.

“Bodymotion” is the collective work of “Theo Issitt and David Earnshaw”. They’re described as an electronic act but actually there’s much more of a full band experience to their output than just synths and drum machines. They are songwriters, musicians, live performers as well as a studio production outfit.

Under their previous moniker of “Game Of theory” they released a number of enticing songs featuring “Misa D” which really captured the attention of many.

The title track “Droplets” is very reflective of their multi talents with a hypnotic song-featuring vocalist “Twig Lebowski”. It’s got a very deep progressive House feel but emotive feel about the whole envelope of the track, slightly dreamy with electronic percussion and an essence of 80s pizazz such as “Depeche mode”.

It’s a quick starting track that will suit both radio and clubs.

First of the featured remixes is from one of “Pro-B-Tech” favorites “TR20”. The duo of “Jack Rutherford & Josshua Tobin” captured our imagination and hearts with their intricate infectious work on the “Mini Album” and this remix is no disappointment.

The remix is full on electronic experience, which builds gently into the vocal with elements of the original bassline and theme. It’s very uniquely done and crosses the boarders of various genres to give us something that’s futuristic as well as touching into areas of the past.

The second remix is from Lithuanian based “Digital Marks” who have had releases on “TR20” imprint “Kyubu Records”. Once again we have a mix the oozes quality centred on the vocal with an indie esque production. There’s some great synth elements to this mix as well as featured guitars that’s breaks away from a standard 4/4-club sound.
