SIMPLE VORTEX

Our next release sees Midlander, Kiz Pattison, in cohorts with B Tech Noir once more. Owing to this freshly curated EP, a crystalising of his ever-burgeoning reputation in moody, electronic techno is becoming palpable. Pattison is on the crest of a wave showing no sign of abating.

The ‘Simple Vortex’ EP consists of a triumvirate of originals, uniformly entitled Parts 1, 2 and 3. This tenebrous trio has been systematically curated; each excerpt showcases Pattison’s devotion to a shadowy, ominous brand of techno. It’s this gut-led studio mischief that creates a homogeneous and consistent sound, optimal for an underground audience who like their techno this way.
Elements of acid. Relentlessly subby, morphing, caliginous arpeggios.

Tension. Release. Growling, cinematic suspense. Pattison knows how to mold and manipulate a dancefloor, and it’s no surprise that his music is now finding it’s way into the record boxes of some of the world’s leading tastemakers.
