P3RV – Whitestarr & Rivet Spinners

Pro B Tech sister label ‘bTech Noir‘ forges on having made it’s debut via a recent free release. It is Whitestarr and Rivet Spinners who are tasked with making the desired first impression and do not disappoint.

‘P3RV’ is a wrecking ball of brooding techno, burgeoning melodies in juxtaposition with an insanely rhythmic under belly.

Sopik strips the elements down to the bare bones, delivering a brutal slice of hard techno. The melody is teased in parts but make no mistake, it’s the drums and lo-slung rumbles that take precedence here. Certain to cause carnage on even the most demanding of dancefloors.

It continues in no-nonsense fashion and not unlike Sopik, ensures aspects of the original are honoured, while crafting a brilliantly contrasting slab of driving techno.
