ESSENCE E.P. – S.T.O.I.K.A

Following our ADE Album & Sebastian Busto release. Pro-B-Tech’s next instalment comes from the very talented S.T.O.I.K.A (STOICA FLORIN ADRIAN).

S.T.O.I.K.A is one of the new breed of Romanian artists designing the future sound of Tech House with a quality edge. His sound is very unique as he blends electronic synthesis, funky house rhythms and techno undertones in a melting pot of grooviness.

He’s already had some exposure with quality releases on imprints such as “Soul Shift Music, Krypofabbrikk, Moog Recordings and building a catalogue of music to enlighten the ear drums of most.

There’s 3 tracks to choose from starting with the title “3 PM” which builds around a house groove and with big drum rolls, melting filter chords, bouncing baseline and great vocal snippets. The track is very hypnotic and entices you further the more you listen.

Up next is “Indian Piano”. This track is very inventive with the influence of Indian rhythms and instrumentation creatively chopped up into an infectious groove.
Its definitely a track which breaks the barriers between an array of influences and moves into an area of its own.

The final track carrying the title of the EP “Essence” and follows suit from “Indian Piano” to a degree but this time we have more groove elements and touches of a old school. Once again very new and forward thinking.
