EMPTY GRAVE E.P.
Frenchman Xavier Le Padellec (more commonly known in musical circles as ‘Xaric’) has been making continuous ripples in the ocean of progressive house, trance and techno for over a decade. His studio prowess has merited recognition and support from the heaviest hitters the scene can offer. Sasha, John Digweed, Laurent Garnier and Paul Oakenfold are among them.
Xaric’s inauguration into the Pro B Tech family comes via a triple header of originals in-keeping with his matter-of-fact approach to production, aimed squarely at the dancefloor.
‘Dig The Dust’ is the starting point for this EP, a thumping, musical techno track promising to burnish and propel even the most static of party-goer.
‘Empty Grave’ is marginally more minimal in it’s approach, yet still boasts a flood of melody, palpally a trademark of the Frenchman’s production signature.
‘Souffle Court’ completes the triumvirate, a deeper, trippier slice of techno showcasing the artist’s versatility and broad base of influence. A melodic hook takes hold mid-way through the piece, the shackles not unleashed until maximum dancefloor havoc is realised.
