Pete Bidwell [Managed Artist]

With residencies in Ibiza since 2012, playing his eclectic mix of Techno, House, and Electronica, it’s not often you find a DJ who can keep you dancing from sunset to sunrise and back again. Pete Bidwell fits that bill.

Since moving to Ibiza 10 years ago, Pete has concentrated on his passion for music, holding many DJ residencies on and off the Island. His weekly and monthly radio shows help support emerging talent as well as more established artists. He has developed a brand, promoted events, broadcasted live streams, and toured throughout Europe and the UK extensively.

After the success of the circle. radio show, his weekly syndicated broadcast that has surpassed its 400th episode on Ibiza Live Radio 103.7 FM in Ibiza and Formentera every Sunday, he also hosts the circle. Ibiza radio show, an exclusive for FRISKY on the 4th Tuesday of every month.

In 2019 Pete held several residencies with dates and repeat bookings in Birmingham, Bristol, the South West of England and London in the UK, and gigs in Ibiza, as well as events with circle. Ibiza and circle. Ibiza on tour, right up into 2020 with a final show in Brighton pre-pandemic.

December 2018 saw Pete head to Birmingham, UK in with Circle Ibiza on tour, the success of this event has led to further dates in March, April and May 2019. Also along with his circle. Ibiza residents and guests he was back at OD Ocean Drive after their first ever summer residency on the island. They returned for a few exclusive dates, every 2nd Sunday of the month between November and March with a break in January.

A successful summer 2018 saw Pete at the opening of Ibiza Rocks Bar, he landed a weekly residency at the legendary Hotel MiM Ibiza Es Vivé, alongside the regular pop-up events and a monthly rooftop session at OD Ocean Drive with his circle. Ibiza roster of DJs. Also booking headline artists from prolific labels such as Anjunadeep, Bedrock, Bonzai and The Vibe Guide to name but a few.

Starting off 2018 Pete signed to Probtech Artist Management, focusing on production and further growing his artist side and profile. With exclusive guest spots on radio shows based across the globe, from Argentina, Austria, Spain, the US and UK, for stations including Data Transmission, DI.FM and Soundportal, as well as a live broadcast from LOCA FM Ibiza and a featured artist spot for Proton Radio.

2017 saw Pete with a guest spot at Hoxton FM and featured on an episode of HappyTech TV. He compiled and selected a mix album on ICONYC released in March of 2017, also a successful date in Leeds, UK with circle. Ibiza on tour as an after party for Hush Hush Presents John Digweed, as well as showcasing the brand at pop-up events in Ibiza.

In 2016 Pete focused hard on growing ‘circle.’. circle. the overall name of the brand and his weekly syndicated radio show, and circle. Ibiza, the events and concert tour side of the business, which started out in Ibiza, Winter of 2016. This became his focus and purpose in life, working on a daily basis to put his own stamp on the electronic music scene.

2015 saw Pete hit the studio to focus more on the production side of things and hone his broadcasting skills to improve his radio show, he held residencies and played regularly for Grupo Mambo at La Cava and Villa Mercedes as well as many iconic sunset sessions at Hostel La Torre, Mint & Sushi Mambo combined.

Summer 2014 saw Pete land a weekly residency at Café Mambo alongside his six-day a week schedule at Savannah, recording each of his daily guests. As well as playing his sunset to midnight sets at Sushi Mambo, along with regular Savannah Back Room parties. This all lead to the beginnings of ‘circle.’, an excellent season in Ibiza and a turning point.

Pete’s also all about doing things differently. He stays versatile as a DJ by learning new skills and staying up to date with the latest equipment and technology from Analogue to Digital. Armed with a laptop loaded with software including Ableton and Traktor, also using MIDI controllers as well as a traditional DJ set up powered by PLAYdifferently MODEL1, Pete has carved a sound and live sets to be admired.

A beach boy from Cornwall through and through, Pete’s brand and residencies in Ibiza have enabled him to invite and play alongside major artists, including Just Her, Luke Brancaccio, Nick Muir, and Space Motion as well as Audiofly, Guti, Enzo Siragusa, and tINI. Pete’s also worked for promoters such as Berlin-Brighton, The B S M N T -After Hours-, Hot Mess Ibiza, Lock n Load events and The Gallery in London to name but a few.

From his first-ever set for a party he organised at a barn in Norfolk, UK, in the early 2000s (that the locals still rave about), Pete’s been hooked and has been playing for crowds around the globe since, from Heaven, Ministry of Sound and Pacha in his hometown of London to gigs and residencies in Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden in Europe as well as venues in Australia.
