Mark Tammo – DJ / Producer

Mark Tamsett (producing as Mark Tammo) from the South East of England, grew up listening to Soul, Funk & Electro and classic Hip-Hop during his teens, but his Eureka moment came whilst at the Prestatyn Weekender in 1988.

It was here where he first heard the deep, oscillating and twisted sounds of Acid House. From this moment on he decided he’d like to seek out, collect, DJ and play House music and throughout the nineties secured a few residencies in London as well as at monthly local nights and festivals too. In the noughties he set up the legendary Raise nights with a few close friends and still puts on the occasional Raise night in London and Kent, also co-hosting another local night called “Group Therapy” with James Parkes

He also now co-hosts a monthly 3 hour radio show on the GraffPUNKS Network with Sean Harvey, called the Raise Sessions.

Mark Tammo now produces Melodic Tech sometimes with a Deep Progressive edge and Melodic Breaks out of his home studio in Kent.

Recent tracks have included releases on SLR, Cood Music, SoundOptix, Zephyr, Abstract Tech records, Hexagonal, Magic Moments, Safe as Records, Capital Heaven, Arbor Recordings and Melodic Beats.
