Kevin Vega

Obsessed with electronic music since the early 90’s, Kevin Vega began experimenting with DJing in 1995. Some 10 years later, studio work became a new passion.

In 2007 his first EP was released on Musashi records, the 2 tracker Ballistic/ Please Others. While ‘Ballistic’ was more focussed on clubs, ‘Please Others’ was clearly more influenced by the progressive sound of late 90’s (you know, when guys like Sasha and Digweed were always number 1 of 2 on the Mixmag DJ charts)

Later on, more influences became visible in his releases. ‘Fear’ was more techno oriented, ‘Fragile Things’ was more smooth and groovy. ‘Mururuoa’, a B-side, was chosen by Simon Patterson to open his Perfecto mix album.

Kevin has played in different clubs and events through Europe. Always focussing on bringing quality sounds to the dancefloor. At the same time, he keeps on releasing tracks on different labels, focussing on melodic techno and progressive.
