Krzysztof Kotlinski (Deep Fog, Chris Deep), DJ, sound designer, mastering engineer and music producer born in Przeworsk, currently lives and creates in the suburbs of Jarosław.
Music has always accompanied him, especially during his childhood, when he was spending each day enjyoing his two passions: listening to music and playing football.
Initially it was a lot of pop music, but deep in his soul sounded completely different, more ambitious sounds.
The breakthrough came in 1999, when he discovered William Orbit’s- Barbers Adagio For Strings, a tune that motivated him to explore other genres.
Further inspirations arrived thanks to the radio “Sunshine Live”, which pushed him forward into a great desire to create his own unique sound, which oscillate around the “progressive-trance”.
In 2003 a great impact on his future music orientation happened- after hearing the album “Paul Oakenfold – Great Wall”, he was convinced that “progressive” is what he wore in his heart for a longtime.
In 2006, he bought a computer and started to work on his music. The effects of his production were quickly appreciated by Jarek Czechowski aka. Angelo Mike on the compilation “Poland Calling Mixed By Angelo Mike.”
The result of this was – a year later – establishing a cooperation with the Stiven Rivic’s and Levans brothers label which in 2012 released Krzysztof’s debut album “Wave”.
In 2013 his next album “Whisper of The Heart” released at SoundtellerRecords saw the daylight and was very warmly received by progressive music circles. His mixes may be often heard in some leading radio stations such as Frisky Radio, Pure FM and Houseradio.
Currently his tracks and remixes are available on the following labels: Armada Digital, Sony BMG, Cloudland Music, OLD SQL Recordings, Stellar Fountain, Carica Lotto, Electronic Tree, Suffused Music, Clinique Recordings, Soundteller Records.
We can safely say that Krzysztof is one of the most talented producers of the younger generation in Poland.
